This paper is the revised concise draft of our team study reported at ANZAM/IFSAM 6th WORLD CONGRESS (Griffith University, Australia). It is not only covering the strategy of Kyouwa Hakko, the pioneer company of Bio-business in Japan but also introduces the histories and realities of Bio-technology Strategies developed by three leading companies, Kikkoman, Yamasa and Higeta in the very traditional Shoyu (soybean sauce) industry.
