The Penan are the nomadic and formerly nomadic groups of hunter-gatherers of Borneo's tropical rain forest in Southeast Asia. Part of the problem concerning the study of the penis pin among the indigenous societies in Malaysian Sarawak is that we still do not know what the penis pin is all about. Western pornographic fantasy that primitive Bornean women crave an augmented penis for sexual pleasure has principally retarded the field research on the topic. In light of the shortage of the field research, this paper primarily focuses on the ethnographic description of sexual behaviors of the Penan as the background data of the sexual device. This paper is based on the anthropological field research conducted between April 2006 and March 2007. This paper concludes that the penis pin is a democratic device that enhances sexual pleasure for both men and women. They share democratic pleasure, based on the relatively free sexual relations., 8, KJ00005175902, 論文}, pages = {87--112}, title = {ペニス・ピン : サラワク・プナン社会における民主的な快楽}, volume = {19}, year = {2008}, yomi = {オクノ, カツミ} }
